OLIVER FORD WINS BEST CINEMATOGRAPHY FOR PHONE BOX AT FILMS SHORT 2016

The online festival, FILMSshort announced the winner of the coveted Cinematography award this week. Oliver Ford picked up the award for his work in Phone Box, an intimate and visceral film that engages viewers with one-sided phone conversations that are shot in one take without edits.

"The camera work was an intrinsic part of the film" says the films' director/producer, Alan Powell. "it was the first time I worked with Ollie and I knew from the get go that he was a true artist." Powell latest film, As One - starring Neil morrissey and Janie Dee, was also a collaboration with Ford. The film is due for release later in 2016.
